Results in NetSeriesIf you click on a View button by an individual's score you can step through that user's marked answers a screen at a time. Results are only available from each individual user once she or he has finished. In this case, finished means the user has explicitly finished the test or survey, or the user has left the test or survey unfinished and the time allowed for the user to return and resume has past. You can export the results to a table, and there are instructions on how to copy from this window directly into a spreadsheet application, such as Excel. You can also export the raw data, so that you can have a spreadsheet with user performance in one worksheet, and every answer each user has made on another. If you are using NetResult or above then results can be filtered, so that you only see the results from particular usergroups instead of all users who have taken the test. You can also view results from inactive users. These are users who can no longer log in, but whose results are kept for historical comparison. When you filter results to show just some of the results from users who took the test, it affects all aspects — the average (mean), the summary display, the question analysis and the export. For example, if you select only results from users in the Engineers user group then the summary, question analysis and export will only include the results from Engineers. A note about different types of userWhen users take tests or surveys their results are saved. If a tutor, learning manager or service manager takes a test or survey the results are not saved. This allows tutors and above to check content without adding to and polluting the results with their own scores. Uploading resultsWhen a test is set for manual results only you wil be able to upload up to 1,000 results at a time. Specific instructions will appear on the results screen. |
