NetEnterprise Accounts

Accounts are only available in NetEnterprise. They are designed to allow you to sell access to content. For example, you could start with a default account, create your tests, lessons and surveys and group them into courses. You need not give anyone access to this account — you could just use it to hold the content you wished to sell.

To create an account click on the New button and then on the Create Account button.

You can set the number of users that can be created within the account, the number of records that can be created, an expiry date, and you can copy courses from one account (probably your default account) to this new account.

After you have pressed the Change button to save your changes, you may wish to click on the Find Accounts button, and then press the Select button by the new account. This will allow you to switch to working in the new account, and you will notice that your log on details on the left-hand-side of the screen will change to show that you are now in the new account.

Copying Content. When you create an account you can copy content to the new account from an existing account. However, what would happen if you had 1,000 accounts? The answer is that all 1,000 might be listed for you to select content from. The tick box called Content Source gets around this problem. Only accounts with this ticked show up in the list of accounts from which content can be copied.
