Approval and Approval Reports

Question Tools creates screens as files, which makes it easier for authors to collaborate and share screens. This approach works well with collaborative systems where authors check files out and back in again. Approval reports build on this approach.

Approving Screens

In the bottom, right-hand side of each screen there is an approved tick box. If you move your mouse over the tick box a tooltip will appear which displays the names of the authors who have already approved the screen. Simply ticking the box will add your name to list of authors who have approved the screen.

Approval Reports

You can print an approval report for a Screen List, and this will list each screen together with the authors who have approved it, together with the time and date when they accepted the screen.
